This concept is my study of how Brutalism can intersect with the restrained, functional spirit of 1990s Japanese industrial design.
I focused on creating a vehicle that feels monolithic, heavy, and intentional — with long flat surfaces, sharp edges, and a sense of engineered honesty. At the same time, I incorporated the calm, almost stoic approach typical of Japanese design from that era: minimal ornamentation, pure geometry, and purpose-driven details.
AI helped me develop a full set of angles and lighting moods, turning the design into a digital “studio shoot.”
The goal was to explore a balance between raw architectural mass and the quiet discipline of 90s Japan — resulting in an EV that feels both futuristic and timelessly functional.
